We had an amazing time last night, performing at Cary’s 21st birthday party! Our sister band, The Lady Sings Jazz, has performed for Cary’s gorgeous mum, Sandra, a few times. Last night, Firefly was joined by our resident saxophonist, Dom Franks, winner of the Daily Telegraph’s Young Jazz Musician of the Year Award (twice)! We performed an hour of jazz and swing, followed by two hours of rock, pop & funk until after 1am and a disco between sets. It was a LOT of fun as you’ll see from the pics below!
