We enjoyed a fabulous weekend of gigs this weekend! On 5th June, we played as a 7-piece band for the wedding of Amanda and Richard at Hillies House, Painswick. The views of Gloucestershire were stunning and the night was made even more special by the band being joined by the brilliantly talented Kim Cypher on saxophone and vocals! Also on vocals were Wendy Abrahams and our lead singer, Suzy. We played their first dance, live (Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing). Then, on 6th June, we played as a 4-piece band at a Masonics’ Dinner Dance. Check out this lovely thank you email, sent to our agent from MC Entertainments from the client, Tony:
The band were fantastic, not only great music but they engaged with the audience superbly, my successor who will be organising a similar event next year has already asked me for the booking details so I think that says it all. I have to admit to being somewhat flattered when she dedicated 'Hot Stuff' to me, before she sang it, what a lovely thing to do. Tony.
