We returned to play at yet another military gig on Saturday 7th December 2019 for the Army Headquarters Officers’ Christmas Ball in Andover.

We were welcomed by the client into the most beautiful setting. A glitter and twinkly star-filled venue at the Army Headquarters in Andover dressed in a magical Christmas in New York scene. The entire venue was decorated with New York City props and Manhattan scenery. There were professional dancers who entertained army officers and their partners with incredible dance moves and circus tricks!  We then entertained the Army Officers until 2am with a disco. Suzy and Kev DJ’d and took a lot of requests. Wow, these military folk can party!

As you can see from the photo, we dressed up for the occasion and mingled with the Army Officers. We love playing at military functions and we can now add the Army Headquarters Officers’ Mess Christmas Ball to our very long list of military function gigs in South West England, the Midlands, the South, Somerset and Gloucestershire. In the band for this amazing military function were Suzy J on lead vocals, Wendy Abrahams on lead and backing vocals, Paul Hardy on keyboards, Martyn Alsop on drums and vocals, Mark Butler on bass guitar, and Dave Miles on lead guitar and vocals and Kevin Howlett on sound and DJ duties. We played a ton of songs and the dance floor was packed. The set list included songs by Guns n Roses, The Killers, Bon Jovi, Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Jess Glynne, Sia, Avicii, Chic, Abba and many more!
