We returned to play at yet another wedding at the stunning Tewkesbury Park Hotel.

Cheryl and Ian booked Firefly to play as a 9-piece band, including a fabulous horn section! They love their live music and had seen us play at a public event the previous year and snapped us up!

The band really dressed for the occasion with the guys wearing DJ’s and the girls wearing cocktail dresses. We love playing at weddings which is reflected by the two wedding awards we’ve recently won inc the International Wedding Awards 2020 – best band (regional winner)!  Tewkesbury Park Hotel is one of many wedding venues we’ve played at in the South West England, the Midlands, Somerset and Gloucestershire.

In the band for this amazing military function were Suzy J on lead vocals, Wendy Abrahams on lead and backing vocals, Paul Hardy on keyboards, Martyn Alsop on drums, Mark Butler on bass guitar, Dave Miles on guitar, Julie Kimber on lead saxophone, Freddie Whittle-Martin on saxophone, Phil Storer on trumpet and Kevin Howlett on sound. We serenaded the happy couple for their first dance with Andy Williams’ Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, followed by a jazz and swing set and then two hours of rock, pop, indie, soul, Motown, electronic dance music and rock n roll!
